Pledges allow churches to monitor and track the success of every pledge duration. Members will be able to voluntarily pledge to this cause on a monthly basis or through a one-time contribution. The system then tracks how much is collected at the end of the pledge duration against what was initially pledged.
Go to the Giving tab on the left panel.
Click on the Action button, then click on Pledges.
Click on Add Pledge.
Fill in the details of this Pledge.
- Give it a name
- Indicate which giving category contributes to this particular pledge. You might want to create a category designated to this pledge.
- Indicate when this pledge begins
- Indicate when this pledge ends
